Teaching agents to talk and keep talking under attack.
A two year study of adversarially robust emergent communication in cooperative reinforcement learning across multiple agents (2025 to 2026), published at two international AI conferences.
01ENVIRONMENT
A reinforcement learning system for multiple agents, built with MAPPO on PettingZoo's simple speaker listener v4 to study emergent communication between cooperative agents.
02ARCHITECTURE
A Transformer encoder with 2 layers, 4 heads and 128 dimensions, serving as the communication channel between agents.
03ROBUSTNESS
Message masking and curriculum adversarial training techniques that harden emergent communication against adversarial attacks.
